Mapperley Dental Studio is a vision my husband and I have turned into reality, and we’re so proud of everything it’s become. Our aim has always been to
create a warm, welcoming space where patients feel genuinely cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

I come from a healthcare background and continue to work part-time in a clinical setting. Supporting others has always been at the heart of what I do,
and that care carries through into everything we’ve built here at the practice. Outside of work, I love staying active. You’ll usually find me at the gym doing a fitness class, swimming, playing badminton, or winding down with yoga. I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places whenever I get the chance.
When it comes to food, pasta and traditional Nepalese dishes are my go-to favourites. Being from Nepal, those flavours always bring a sense of comfort
and remind me of home; full of warmth, spice, and good memories.

The one thing patients always ask me is are you the Dentist? Whilst I’m not the dentist, I’ll be one of the friendly faces welcoming you in and making sure your experience with us is smooth, positive and personal.

I absolutely love working at Mapperley Dental Studio. The team is incredible, and the environment is everything I could wish for – supportive, friendly, and genuinely uplifting. That positive energy carries through to our patients, who often comment on how at ease they feel the moment they walk through the door. I especially enjoy getting to know our lovely patients and making their journey with us one to remember.

If I weren’t in dentistry, I’d be renovating properties – I love the buzz and satisfaction of transforming a space and making it your own. I’m currently working on my third renovation!

My favourite food is chilli, especially when I’m building the perfect burrito, and you can’t beat a glass of prosecco to celebrate the end of a good day. I always enjoy asking patients what they do for a living – it’s a great way to connect and learn more about the amazing people we treat every day.

I love being one of the first friendly faces our patients see when they arrive. Creating a warm, welcoming environment and helping people feel at ease—especially if they’re feeling nervous—is something I take real pride in. I also feel incredibly lucky to work with such an amazing team in the most beautifully designed practice.

If I weren’t in dentistry, I’d probably be working in a creative industry. I love the process of designing and bringing ideas to life, particularly when it comes to planning special events.

When it comes to food and drink, I’m a big foodie—but chocolate is definitely my weakness! I also have a serious love for anything mango-flavoured, especially a chilled mango juice.

One of the most common things patients ask me about is pricing and treatment options. I always reassure them that while costs can vary, investing in your oral health is one of the best decisions you can make.
